Default Inbound Links

I many web pages designed for various people and get most of my inbound links to mysite from pages I have done.

The question is should the link text that I put on these pages be simply "mysite" or would changing them to "keyword" be a better idea ?

The keywords use for link text are used to determine what a page is found for. And you can sometime see pages that will come up that do not have the keywords on the page. This is how that is possible.

But this has been abused for some time now and is not as effective. I suggest that you use no more than 50-60% for "keyword" and then use "www.mysite" or other different things in your link building, or on-site links.
