Hi,
I've read that you should buy a site with existing page rank - it will give you a big head start. I've also read that page rank is easy to rig. How can you tell if the page rank is real?

How can a domain have page rank if there are no records in wayback that indicate there was a website setup at this domain?

What is important to look for when looking at page rank statistics?

How can a domain name that last had a website in 2004 (according to wayback) have a pagerank? Is that page rank valid or have any value today?
