Default Do you park or develop domain

I have most of my domains parked with various parking sites. But the revenue is really less.

I am considering developing them to maximise revenue.

I think you can do much better developing your domains vs parking. A little bit of content combined with ppc ads or affiliate links seem to work
much better for me.

Default Park some and develop some

I used to only develope sites. Now I also have some domains that are parked. I started parking domains at Imonetize because they were recommended to me, but now I have most of my domains at TrafficZ and I am seeing more traffic recorded. Plus TrafficZ also lets you OPTIMIZE the parking pages for your domain. While this takes some time to set up, it is working quite well. I am hoping that just like having a "real" site, it increases the traffic.

But I think that building sites, good sites, it the best way to go. I make the most money from the two sites that I have that get the most traffic and have the most content.

Default Sites

Bizprolink-Internet.com - Free lists of deleted domains
Consultant-Directory.com - Free directory of professions and experts

Both sites have been established for 2-3 years.

I developed both sites.

I don't want to give exact numbers, but I will give you some idea:

Bizprolink-internet.com has Adsense and AuctionAds. It makes about $120 a
month mostly from AdSense.

This site was started in 2004 and has about 20 million domain names for content. They are all in HTML pages and NOT in a database.

Consultant-Directory.com has Adsense and Paid links. It makes about $500 month, mostly from paid links.

This site was started in 2003 and now has over 10,000 listings that were all reviewed and edited by hand.

Both sites could do even better, but I dont have much time to work on them. Both sites have taken quite a bit of work to get them where they are, but the secret is to try and do a little every day that you can. In time the work will pay off.

That's really nice.

Did you develop the site yourself or hire a programmer to do it for you ?

Bizprolink-internet.com was designed and coded by me.

Consultant-Directory.com uses an old version of a free script. You can see the link to the site that I got it from at the bottom. Most people don't think much of using a free script, but if it's good you can make it the foundation of a great site.
