Try placing a banner in the existing adspace that reads "Your Banner Here" or "Advertise Here".. I find this method works well for me.. Your banner should link back to an advertising media page. If the traffic is high the clicks should convert for you to sell the space..

I get atleast 250 visits a day on forex and 700 visits on the adult sites.
