If I was new (and I am) to affiliate marketing I would like to compile a list of things that you (me) would need to know about how to rate a good affiliate program.

What are the most important factors to consider about an affiliate program?
- payment schedule?
- tracking and statistic?

Most important thing to consider is that the products you are promoting are relevant to your domain name or website. Tracking and stats are important. Most programs such as Clickbank and CJ have limited tracking options. There are several scripts available to help the process. Clickbank pay right on time twice per month, CJ als0 pays monthly right on schedule.

What are the most important factors to consider about an affiliate program?

I have adult websites like hardcore, bi, so on. I focus on my niche, for eg I take hardcore affiliates for hardcore names.

I also check their converison rates and modes of payment.
