If you are going to ask a question that has nothing to do with the thread, you should really start a new thread of your own and ask there. :-)
I think you are new to forums and you will want to read the rules of any forum you visit and do a little reading first so you know how things are done. This is my first tip because participating in forums is a really good way to promote your site, but not by posting about it. Most forums do not allow advertising except in special areas and they don't allow self-promotion for the most part.
But if you have good information to share and ask or answer questions people will notice and visit your site from your signature, like the one you have. But most forums also do not allow affiliate links like you have, so you will have to make sure you read the rules for each forum. This forum allows affiliate links, I think, but they don't give a good impression, since you are not promoting "your" site, but someone else's. :-)
Anyway, the other suggestion is to learn about search engine optimization. This is one of the most cost-effective ways to get traffic and anyone can do it, but it depends on the person's ability and time.
I would just avoid anything you hear that talks about "getting tons of traffic to your site" since while it may work, the traffic generally is not looking for or does not care about what your site offers and just leaves right away.
